Commodity Recovery of Mentha Oil Offering Gains


Mentha oil futures seem bearish in its last session and seen in a strong trade mode during the hours of trading on Multi Commodity Exchange [MCX] on Monday.
The February contract in futures has showed gains of Rs 23.40 at Rs 1,090 a kg, budging in the range of Rs 1,094.40-1,075 a kg at 10:31 am IST. Volume of the contract stood at 812 lots so far. 
The March contract is traded in Rs 23.60 up, at Rs 1,095 a quintal, and moved in the range of Rs 1,099-1,082. Volume shown so far was 233 lots.
On 11th February, the total stock of mentha oil at MCX-monitored main warehouses and at Chandausi it was 6,13,283 kg of which 4,23,254 kg is physical stock and 1,90,028 is in the demat stock and at Barabanki, the total stock was 8,13,556 kg of which, physical stock accounted for 3,31,740 and demat stock was 4,81,815 kg.
